Lyle & Catherine: 10.25.08

Lyle & Catherine's wedding was our last wedding of the season...and we could not have asked for a better couple to work with!  Catherine actually planned her wedding from Austin, Texas and booked us before we were ever able to meet.  When I did eventually get to meet them in one of their trips to Indy in June, I knew that they were going to be so much fun to work with.

It turned out to be a beautiful fall day, a little chilly, but the color was amazing

Here are a few of our favorites!

I have to start with Catherine's shoes...anyone who knows me...knows that I love shoes and IF (big if) I had a limitless shoe budget..I would have to get another closet I loved Catherine's shoes and better yet they are from J. Crew!

Lyle and Catherine seeing each other for the first time...

I love how excited they are to see each other!

Catherine's brothers were her bridesmen

Action Shot ;-)

So as I was editing this last wedding, I came across some funny pics of us working...I thought I would share one.  I am obviously just goofing off here and letting Brian and Kim do all the work...while I shoot them sprawled out on the floor

Kelsey: Senior Pictures

Meet Kelsey!  We had a great time the other week shooting her senior portraits...A little trip to downtown Noblesville and 5 outfits later this is what we got. Oh, and thanks to whoever put a random stop sign in an alley...I loved it!

Kelsey, enjoy your senior year...it goes so fast

Here are a few of our favorites!

Gavin & Kat: 10.11.08

Gavin and Kat had a beautiful fall wedding.  Actually, it was surprisingly warm for the middle of October, which was awesome because we were able to take advantage of golf course in Fishers where they had their reception.  Of course, I think we may have made a few golfers mad, when seven golf carts containing the wedding party came flying by!

Here are a few of our favorites.

Jeff & Meghan: eSession

Remember Jeff & Meghan?  They got married earlier this year and because of how super busy they were before the wedding and an original weather conflict we just shot their Engagement session.  Oh, well, better late than never   We headed out to Zionsville on a beautiful fall day!  I love the start of fall and absolutely love shooting this time of year.  Here are a few of our favorites from the day!

Joe & Jennifer 09.27.08

Joe & Jennifer had a beautiful wedding at Culver Military Academy.  If you have never been to Culver, the campus is gorgeous and has tons of really neat architecture.  This was actually our first time shooting there and we loved it! They had some really neat details in their day, which we expected, since Jennifer is a wedding coordinator and her mom is a florist (she did all the flowers!!!).

Here are a few of our favorites! Enjoy

I love this image of Jen and her father...this is when he first saw her in her dress

I got caught by the oldest flower girl while trying to snap this

Joe and Jennifer seeing each other for the first time.

# 2 of the three flower girls wanted to stand with her mom during pictures, so ingeniously, she came up with the idea for her to hide behind her.  It worked

I had to post this...I love the Polaroid!

William & Bridget: 9.20.08

William & Bridget got married on a gorgeous September Saturday in Carmel.  They planned their wedding from Wisconsin and Bridget did a fabulous job of organizing and planning.

Here are a few of our favorites!

The day started off with Bridget at D.L. Lowry, which for us was a lot of fun because one our brides last year is a stylist there.

We are super lucky that the rain held off during pictures.  You can't see the clouds, but there was thunder booming in the distance the entire time

Isn't she gorgeous?

Braden & Danielle - 09.13.08

Braden and Danielle were married this last weekend up in Marion.  Though the weather called for 90% chance of storms, it ended up being a pretty clear day...which was awesome, since there were some really cool photo op places around the reception site.

Here are a few of our favorites!

Adam & Amber: 08.31.08

Adam & Amber were married in a labor day weekend wedding at the Indianapolis Zoo.  Even though it was a hot hot day, the wedding in the Rose Garden's was absolutely beautiful!  Adam and Amber were super laid back and just a ton of fun to work with.  It was a spectacular event that was organized by Amber, with the help of Lisa Gorman and her team at Memory Makers.  Here are a few of our favorites from the day.  I had a hard time narrowing down the images, so sorry for the long blog post.

Adam seeing his bride for the first time!

My Favorite!  Isn't she beautiful?

The Reception was in the Dolphin Pavilion and Lisa and her team did some fun stuff with the lighting and decor!

Another detail that I loved was the miniature cakes.  Each guest got their own.

Labor Day Weekend Projects!

So this last week we tore out all the flooring in our kitchen, bathroom and pantry/laundry room...Our fridge is currently in our living room, and the stove, dishwasher, washer & dryer, and the half bath toilet & sink are all in our garage.

We have a little bit of a mess, but with a 3 day weekend and only a wedding to shoot on Sunday, we are hoping to put our house a little back together.  Here are a few pictures from today of Brian and Nate, putting in out new granite tile!

Oh, and of course Donovan our cat thought she was helping

Happy Labor Day!
